What Is the InCorr Method?

At its core, the InCorr Method integrates and corrects the emotional, physical, and cognitive aspects of your experience so they can work in harmony again. It is grounded in two essential ideas:

Primary Pain

Primary pain is the original, unprocessed emotional pain held in the body when the system becomes overwhelmed. It often shows up not as clear emotion, but as:

  • tension, constriction, or pressure
  • anxiety, numbness, or shutdown
  • behaviours that manage or avoid feeling
  • emotional reactivity or withdrawal

When primary pain goes unmet, symptoms develop in the system to protect you. These symptoms — anxiety, panic, exhaustion, hypervigilance, emotional disconnection — are secondary responses, not the root cause.

Curative Change Beyond Symptoms

The InCorr Method doesn’t aim to simply manage symptoms. It helps you access and resolve the underlying primary pain so your system can reorganise and return to coherence. When primary pain is met and processed, the symptoms it created naturally begin to ease.

The Process: A Journey Into the Self

Each session unfolds at a pace that feels safe. The process is gentle, body-based, and experiential — inviting your system to settle and reveal what is ready to be healed.

  1. Creating Safety

Healing begins with establishing safety in the body. You learn how to recognise your signals of overwhelm and stay connected in the present moment. This foundation supports your system to soften and prepares it for deeper work with primary pain.

  1. Holding and Awareness

You and your practitioner create a stable “holding field” where sensations, emotions, and memories can arise without being pushed away or interpreted. This is where the system begins to reveal primary pain in a way that feels manageable.

  1. Meeting the Inner Landscape

Clients often notice patterns such as anxiety, protective responses, or emotional emptiness. In the InCorr Method, these are understood not as parts of the self but as adaptive survival patterns built around unprocessed primary pain.

Through compassionate presence, these layers can be felt, understood, and integrated.

  1. Integration, Correction, and Embodiment

As primary pain is met and processed, the system naturally reorganises.
